Anne and I spent the day putting up the exterior blue-board insulation around the foundation. Pretty straightforward, all in all, though a bit sad to cover up our beautiful tar. A warm day, perfect for working outside. Our smallest maples are starting to turn red, hinting at what the hillside will look like in a few weeks' time.
With the addition of blueboard, the foundation is almost ready to be backfilled, finally eliminating our moat around the house. That will be nice, to be certain, but I am not sure what to do with the alligators. We have become quite fond of them. Maybe the leachfield...
